Our presenters ZE PowerGroup Inc.® (ZE) and Adapt2 Solutions Inc. (Adapt2) will highlight how data systems are part of an integrated solution that acts as a backbone system to a wide array of downstream Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools. The presenters will demonstrate how data is captured, validated and organized into structured streams of information that can be stored, analyzed, and integrated into ETRM systems, accounting/ERP systems, executive dashboards, decision support systems, and even Excel spreadsheets. ZE and Adapt2 have created an integrated scheduling and settlement application for clients operating in any ISO/Nodal market. The ISO application is used by clients who manage large energy schedules and settlement data in the ERCOT market. Our presenters will review case studies and introduce best practices for growing within the changing power markets.
Leveraging its best of breed ZEMA Suite, ZE covers an extensive breadth of data across the North American and European markets. In addition to covering data provided by a wide number of exchanges, broker, financial institutions and other data providers, the ZEMA Suite captures the full range of data across the various regional ISOs including NYISO, PJM, NEISO, IESO, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO and AESO. The ZEMA Suite is commodity agnostic and includes key gas, crude, power, weather, emission and financial datasets. This information is then presented to both users and downstream applications in a systematic and predictable fashion allowing for end to end business process automation.
ZE will demonstrate how ZEMA allows organizations to construct simple and complex derivative curves to feed ETRM and BI systems.
Adapt2 will showcase the Scheduling and Settlement ISO System for passing and receiving transactional information to the various ISOs, relying on the ZEMA backbone for communication.
