I recently had the good fortune of joining Allegro Development Inc. for their Annual Customer Summit in Dallas, Texas, on October 16 and 17. As is usual for Allegro, they hosted an exemplary event, with customers and partners treated with the utmost of southern hospitality. This year’s event was themed around “Architecture for Success”, with Allegro revealing their technical strategy for aligning product development with major technical and structural market changes. Eldon Klassen, the CEO of Allegro Development, provided an insightful roadmap to Allegro development plans. This included offerings for small and mid-tier market participants in trade and risk management, as well as cloud-based offerings for integrating market data into the Allegro platform. On the whole, Allegro’s future vision is much more inclusive of end to end trade and risk management, while remaining true to their energy roots.

ZE and Allegro are partner organizations and have been working closely together for several years. ZE has enjoyed this relationship in that it promotes mutual tangible benefit, and provides value added propositions for participants in the marketplace. ZE continues to see the need for new and innovative products as well as integration in the trade and risk management sphere and the strong connectivity that ETRM has with enterprise data management (EDM).

It was great to actually meet so many ZE clients and partners in Dallas at the Allegro Customer Summit. The conference provided a great backdrop to several productive client and partner meetings. We look forward to the next Allegro meeting.
